Unfortunately, I missed the exhibition at the London Science Museum this year. In fact, I only found out 18 days after it closed. The exhibition was on The Renaissance Engineers, brilliant men like Leonardo da Vinci, and his teachers, Francesco di Giorgio and Mariano di Iacopo, nicknamed Taccola (The Raven).
I have Links to the website of the exhibition. Well worth a look, these were men ahead of their time. Interestingly, they were driven by two main factors - Water & Warfare, things that still occupy great minds 500 years on.
